Story Wise Women

An Invitation to become a Story Keeper

This is an invitation to talk through becoming involved in Story Wise Women as part of a collaborative group committed to women’s storytelling. 

Together we are greater than the sum of our parts and this idea is as much about experiencing the how of collaboration, as the why and the what of story.

The initial idea is to host a series of 3 circles with other interested women, to build trust, and imagine and create a future for women and our stories.

This is for you if:

• You have a commitment to the art of storytelling – learning, listening and growing with story;

• You are interested in collaborating and becoming a ‘keeper’ (organiser, host, leader etc) of Story Wise Women;

• You are curious about other ways we can work together to encourage, strengthen and amplify women’s stories

This is a seed planting, or perhaps more a preparing of the field, and has been a long time coming. 
It is the beginning of what might blossom into a participatory, collaborative and creative space to grow the strength and wisdom embedded in women’s stories. 

If you are interested, make a time to chat with me about it. (You will be asked to write a couple of sentences in response to the three ideas above).

I am proposing the first circle be on Wednesday 7 July, (morning or evening) but I am open to the availability of whoever is interested.
